WHAT WE SUPPORT
Terrific Kids
Terrific Kids is a student-recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance.
“Terrific” is an acronym for Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive and Capable.
Students work with their classroom teacher to establish goals to improve behavior, peer relationships, attendance or school work. All students who achieve their goals after a specified time are recognized as Terrific Kids. Recognition includes being pinned as a Terrific Kid; a pizza, ice cream or other food-themed party; and presentation of certificates and other giveaways.
Kiwanis Kids Care
The Biloxi High, St. Patrick High, and Diberville High School Key Clubs and the Biloxi Kiwanis Club collect needed school supplies and donate items to the local Biloxi Schools. We provide Kiwanis Kids Supplies to children needing books, pencils, and other learning necessities.
Under this project we also provide backpacks filled with every day toiletries to the Biloxi Police Dept so they can provide to children displaced from homes locally due to domestic situations.
Key Club Bell Ringers
Each year from Thanksgiving until Christmas, our Kiwanis Club members ring in the holidays by manning donation pots at area businesses. Our local Key Clubbers also join us in helping the Salvation Army in this critical fundraising effort.
Wreaths Across America
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 1,600 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad - to include the Biloxi National Cemetery.

The Eliminate Project
Through The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus—a deadly disease that steals the lives of nearly 31,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year.
We did it! We reached our fundraising goal, raising US $110 million in cash and pledges since 2010. However, our job is not done yet.
Now, more than ever, we are determined to finish what we started. Mothers and babies in 13 countries are depending on Kiwanis. They’re waiting for us to fulfill our pledges — so we can turn promises into funding; funding into vaccines; and vaccines into lives saved and futures protected. The end of this disease means the beginning of better health for so many of these families.
Kiwanis Children's Fund
At the Kiwanis Children's Fund, our mission is to develop resources that transform the goodwill and vision of Kiwanians into programs that serve the children of the world.
So the work of the Children's Fund helps Kiwanians change kids' lives—often in ways that would otherwise remain beyond the resources of clubs and districts.
In fact, our vision is to extend your Kiwanis impact. We strive to make sure your gift helps children in many places and many ways.
